Humanitarian & global development Initiatives
As a church, we address spiritual, mental, social, and physical needs, and combat injustices and poverty. We extend support beyond Denmark to countries facing greater challenges, collaborating with organizations and individuals to build better communities worldwide.
Our partnerships in Denmark and abroad support and contribute to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Below are some of the countries we have worked with and continue to support to make the world a better place:
Nigeria
We have supported projects that help children, single parents, and the elderly. This includes food distribution, sending hospital equipment, and building boreholes to provide local communities with water. We also address acute needs in food distribution during holidays and crises.
India
In India, we have supported projects that help children, their parents, families, and elderly citizens. We have assisted our partners in initiatives that promote freedom of religion or belief. This support includes food distribution (Christmas aid/crisis relief), building boreholes to provide water to local communities, and giving gifts to children and families during holidays and crises.
Tanzania
We’ve supported church rebuilds, aided flood victims, and provided financial help to orphanages.
Kenya
We supply food to orphanages, provide shoes and clothing for families in need, and distribute seeds to farmers.
Philippines
We’ve supported flood victims and provided food assistance during crises and the Christmas season.
Others
We have also helped and supported projects in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Uganda and Ghana in various capacities. Through our development aid, we aim to raise awareness of the needs around us and encourage internationals living in Denmark to support the rebuilding of their countries of origin.
