Following Jesus is a journey of faith, growth, and belonging. Baptism and church membership are two important ways of expressing our faith and becoming more deeply connected to the life of the church.
Whether you are considering baptism or would like to become a member of FINTC, we would be glad to help you understand what each step means.
Baptism
Baptism is a public expression of faith in Jesus Christ. It represents our identification with His death and resurrection and the beginning of a life committed to following Him.
At FINTC, we practise baptism by immersion for those who have personally put their faith in Jesus Christ.
Before baptism, we offer preparation where we talk about the meaning of baptism, the Christian faith, and what it means to follow Jesus.
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

Membership
Church is more than a place we attend. It is a community where we belong, grow, serve, and share life with one another.
Membership at FINTC is a way of saying, “This is my church community, and I want to be part of its life and mission.”
As a member, you become part of a diverse international church community seeking to follow Jesus and live out our vision to Share · Care · Serve.
Becoming a Member
Membership is for those who want to make FINTC their church home and take an active part in the life and mission of the church.
As part of becoming a member, we ask that you:
Believe in Jesus– You have personally put your faith in Jesus Christ and desire to follow Him.
Participate in Church Life– You want to be part of the life of the church—not simply attending, but growing, sharing life, serving, and contributing to the community.
Know Our Vision, Mission & Values– You understand what FINTC stands for and want to be part of our shared direction as a church.
Complete a Membership Declaration– When you are ready to become a member, we ask you to complete our Membership Declaration Form as a formal expression of your decision to belong to FINTC.
